Website usage data

Purpose of the processing

When you access the website, we collect anonymised data on how you interact with the site using a tool called Matomo Analytics. This help us understand which parts of the website are useful for users and to identify pages and sections which aren't working correctly or which need improvement. Specifically, we are processing and storing:

• The first 6 digits of your IP address.
• The title and URL of the pages you access and the local date and time you accessed them at.
• Whether you arrived at that page via a direct link, a search engine, a social media platform, or a different website.
• Your screen resolution.
• Your browser's main language and user agent header.
• The time it takes for the web page to be generated by the server and then downloaded by the user.
• Your approximate location, based on the first 6 digits of your IP address.
• Elements that you click on, including files that were clicked and downloaded.
• A recording of your session that shows your mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks / taps. It does NOT include any information you type into form fields.

We do not use cookies to collect this data.

The legitimate interests

Without this data, we would not be able to provide you with such relevant information. Therefore this type of data collection is done on legitimate interests.

Your data will be used only to improve the user experience on our website and help you find the information you are looking for. It is never used for any other reason.

Recipient of the personal data

The personal data received through Matomo are sent to:

• Our company
• Our service provider: InnoCraft, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand

Matomo data is hosted in Germany.

We keep the personal data captured within Matomo for a period of 12 months.

Your rights

As we are processing personal data on legitimate interests, you can exercise the following rights:

• Right of access: you can ask us at any time to access your personal data.
• Right to erasure: you can ask us at any time to delete all the personal data we are processing about you.
